Winter Games in Bethlehem

Dear all,

Attached you’ll find a few images, which give you an idea about the current conditions here in Bethlehem. This week temperatures will stay day and night below 32 degrees and by the end of the week we expect more snow. The occasional tea with rum or Irish coffee serve as a helpful doping to withstand the frosty challenges.

See you in class.

Namaste, RoxAnn

  1. OMGosh!

First of all, your stunning white house is so stylish with its black shutters and red door! It really stands out and looks so classy! I see the top window up high and believe that is where your studio is?

These photos really give a true perspective of what you are experiencing, and more snow is coming??? Thank goodness things are closeby and you can walk to a lot of where you need to go but then there is the slippage risk factor! Perhaps you need boots with cleats? Ha!

I can’t believe how deep the cars are buried! That must take quite a while to dig them out! Do residents use blowers to remove the snow? Will your car start OK when it’s this cold out?

The photos are so beautiful and interesting with their lines, curves and textures! I especially love the outdoor furniture with perfectly matching snow stacks against the background of the solid brick wall.

As always, thank you for sharing your spectacular photos Rolf!

Sending wishes for your continued recovery, RoxAnn. Both of you try to stay warm and bundled and enjoy your occasional spiked hot toddies! (I hope your handwarmers are useful about now? They match your red door, haha!).

    Hearts & Hugs,

    ~Lori
