Balance and Bones –
Tough Facts About Osteoporosis And Solutions How to Deal With It!

A workshop presented by
RoxAnn Madera (Yoga Therapist E-RYT-500 USA and YTRx-800c)

“Currently about 9 Million adults in the U.S. have osteoporosis and 48 million have low bone mass, placing them at risk for osteoporosis and broken bones!”

In a group setting with a limited number of participants RoxAnn will present you a lecture with latest data and facts about this ‘treatable disease’ and also guide you through an inspiring yoga practice.

You will hear and watch (about 55 Min):

– What is Osteoporosis?
– Who is at risk?
– What are the risk factors for developing Osteoporosis?
– What can I do to prevent Osteoporosis?
– What are widely communicated solutions?
– What are the alternative options?

You will practice (about 75 Min):

The workshop includes a yoga class, focusing on asanas, which enable you to establish a practice, that promotes bone strengthening and balance.

You can ask and get answers (about 30 Min).

You will learn, what it takes to deal with or prevent osteoporosis and how Yoga can help you to continue doing the things, that are most important to you – whether it’s being able to continue living in your own home, playing with your grand children on the floor (and getting up again), or taking a bucket list vacation.

You do not have to bring anything specific (except a mat and blanket), but an open mind and a friendly attitude.
Thank you!
